Terms of Service

Last updated on 6 September 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of website hosting, VPS hosting, email hosting, domain registration and any other services provided by ProNet Hosting ("we", "us", "our"). By ordering, activating or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Eligibility & Registration

You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to register for an account with us. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information when signing up and to keep that information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services to:

  1. Host or distribute illegal content or content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
  2. Send unsolicited bulk email (spam) or engage in phishing, malware distribution or other malicious activity.
  3. Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, network or account not belonging to you.
  4. Disrupt or degrade the performance of our network or infrastructure for other customers.
  5. Use our services in a way that violates any applicable UK or international law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account found to be in breach of this Acceptable Use Policy, with or without notice, depending on the severity of the breach.

Third Party Services

Some features of our platform, such as one-click application installers, content delivery and DNS services, may rely on third-party software or infrastructure providers. We select these partners carefully, but we are not responsible for outages or issues caused solely by third-party services outside of our direct control.

Domain name registrations are subject to the additional policies of the relevant domain registry (for example, Nominet for .uk domains) as well as ICANN policies where applicable.

Payments and Billing

Fees for our services are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly, annually or as otherwise agreed) unless stated otherwise. Failure to pay outstanding invoices by the due date may result in suspension or termination of the affected services. Where a refund is offered, it will be described on the relevant product page or agreed with you in writing at the point of sale.

Service Availability

We work hard to keep our platform online and performant, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where reasonably possible by email or support notice.

Termination

You may cancel your services at any time through ProNetCP or by contacting our support team. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, non-payment or where required to comply with the law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The version published on this page is the current version for services ordered from ProNet Hosting unless a separate written agreement applies.
